Follow Hudson Regional Health Commission (HRHC)Hudson Regional Health Commission, with the support of all municipalities in Hudson County and the County of Hudson, has been providing environmental control programs since 1971. Pursuant to the County Environmental Health Act, HRHC has been designated by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the Board of Chosen Freeholders as the lead agent for the following environmental control programs: air pollution control, noise pollution control, solid waste enforcement, water pollution control, hazardous substance control/emergency response. Since 2001, the Commission has been implementing the public health emergency response program with the support of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, all municipalities in Hudson County and the county of Hudson.
