    About Howland Cultural Center

    The Howland Cultural Center, often referred to as 'The Jewel of Beacon,' was designed by famed architect Richard Morris Hunt in 1872 for his brother-in-law, Civil War General Joseph Howland and his wife, Eliza Woolsey Howland.
