Follow Highlands Neighborhood AssociationThe easter egg hunt was a joke. It started before the stated time, and there was no staff around to ensure it was a fair hunt. You had bigger kids going into the little kids' spots. My kids walked away with NO EGGS while I saw other kids having grocery sacks full of them. My kids are 2 and 4 years old. This was not put together well at all. Food vendors were advertised to be there that were not there, like Baconazing. I understand something could have come up, but it was also not posted to the page for people to know this. I would suggest an allotted time slot for egg hunting in the future if this continues. This is supposed to be fun for the kids, but I had two crying on the way home because they did not get any eggs during the hunt.
