Hi! I'm Heather Bienz (Pronounced as Benz)I'm an award-winning and published portrait and branding photographer based in Fort Wayne, IN. I have a bachelor's degree in business marketing and communications that helped to drive my corporate career in sales and marketing before I began my online education and training in photography in 2017.As a small business owner myself, I have a passion for strategizing with local small business owners and entrepreneurs on how to best capture images that tell your story and market your personal brand, products or services. I also enjoy feeding my creative appetite by creating custom pieces of portrait art photography such as children's sports and fine art photography, important milestones, and family photos for families to display in their homes for years to come.Photography completely lights me up! I love continuing to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends while also teaching everything I've learned to students, hobbyists and fellow professionals. I host winter and summer photography camps for elementary aged children, teach Intro to Digital Photography to middle and high school students at the Homeschool Resource Center at Emmanuel Christian School, and provide online and in-person private mentoring to adult hobbyist and fellow professionals.I'm also an actively involved member and Ambassador for the National Association of Portrait and Child Photographers (NAPCP) where I play an active role in building a thriving community of artists at a local level committed to growing their skills, artistry and business.I live in Southwest Fort Wayne with my husband of twelve years and three children ages nine, seven and three. My in-home studio is available for professional headshot and children's portrait sessions. I shoot on location for personal and business branding, events and family portrait sessions.
