Haroon Rasheed

I’m Haroon Rasheed, a committed leader and community advocate whose journey has always been defined by service and growth. From an early age, I balanced academics and extracurriculars while taking on leadership roles — serving as class prefect, head boy, and later as class representative throughout university. I led the IEEE society, organised industrial trips, and acted as a bridge between students and professors. My passion for civic engagement also led me to serve as a District Member of Pakistan’s Youth Parliament, where I learned the value of representation and dialogue.Since migrating to Perth in 2022, I have embraced the Perth as my home, actively engaging with UNAAWA, Amnesty International, the Ethnic Communities Council of WA, and AIIA WA. At Yokogawa Australia, I contribute to the Diversity & Inclusion team, organising initiatives that foster belonging. Driven by care for humanity, the environment, and opportunity, I aspire to grow across all dimensions of life.
