Hampshire Junior Chess Association (“HJCA”) is affiliated to Hampshire Chess Association and promotes chess for junior (aged eighteen or less) chess players who reside or attend a school in the County of Hampshire. HJCA coordinates the organisation of events, organises its own events, manages Hampshire junior teams and generally manages junior chess activity in the Hampshire area. Our focus is to grow chess in schools, clubs, grow teams and support the senior teams that represent Hampshire. We have applied for membership of English Primary Schools Chess Association (EPSCA) and Southern Counties Chess Union(SCCU).
