About Us Halton Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) is a partnership of key agencies who’s primary aim is to help keep adults in Halton safe. HSAB is chaired by HBC Strategic Director and the members of Halton Safeguarding Adults Board include: Halton Borough CouncilCheshire PoliceNHS Halton Clinical Commissioning GroupHealthwatchNorth West Ambulance ServiceGP representativeNational Probation ServiceCheshire & Greater Manchester CRC Probation TrustCheshire Fire and RescueSafeguarding Adults Boards are now a statutory requirement under the Care Act 2014 and have 3 core duties they must adhere to, which are:To publish a strategic plan for each financial year that sets out how it will meet its main objectives, assuring that local safeugarding arrangements and partners act to help and protect adults in the areaPublish an annual report detailing what the SAB has done during the year to acheive its main objectives and implement its strategic planConduct any Safeguarding Adult Reviews as required under the Care Act 2014
