Founded in 1987, Habitat for humanity of Wicomico County is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to ensuring everyone has a safe, decent, affordable home. To-date, we have served 92 families with affordable homeownership. We build/renovate homes and sell them at a low-cost, low-interest mortgage to hardworking families in need. In addition, we perform critical repairs and aging in place modifications for low-income, elderly homeowners. We have completed 147 critical repairs since the program's inception in 2013.
