“As always I had a fantastic time at one of GourmetGroceries.ca events they always go above and beyond for everyone involved so I had a blast! Excellent curation of vendors and service. The high tea was disappointing however I fully understand that it wasn't their fault AND they are still taking accountability for someone else's mistake, which is highly admirable. Even if the event doesn't go as planned for some people, they do everything possible to go above and beyond. You can't ask for better customer service than that!”
“Vendors were good and the wine was tasty ”
“Unfortunately waiting in a line up for over an hour on a cold wet windy day wasn’t the most pleasant way to start the day. The actual market was surprisingly better than expected. Great vendors and products. ”
“Great event but times should have been staggered. Was very hard to browse at certain vendors. Would have preferred if there was time slots. I feel like I missed out on a lot that was on offer because there was too many people crowed around. ”
“More thought and planning should have been placed into using a staggered entry time as the line-up was overly long. There was also no process for scanning for entry BUT overall appreciated the Market. Thank-you! :-)”
“I enjoyed this market, and I thought the vendors were amazing. There was a wide variety of products available, the vendors were all insanely talented, and everyone I talked to was extremely friendly. The line to get in wasn’t ideal and I think that maybe something could have been done for the people waiting outside in the freezing rain for 1-2 hours (heat lamps, hot tea) but obviously the organizers can’t control the weather or the number of people showing up at once. Overall I had a great time!”
“Great vendors, but could use a much bigger venue!”
“Excellent venue and well done.”
“Amazing event and you can tell so much effort was put into making an amazing experience. Only suggestions: - A priority hour of shopping for VIP guests - Creating entry time slots for general admission When the market first started it was challenging to even move. Thanks for an amazing event and hope to see more ”
“This event was so much fun and we hope it becomes an annual (or more frequent) event! The amount of various quotes on various items, music street signs above doorways, themed drinks, her music playing, live music, fellow Swifties …it was heaven for my friend and I. And the atmosphere was friendly too. We had fun getting a picture with “Taylor Swift” (Carrie Dawn), and just looking around. We come from Chilliwack and driving to Vancouver (where Swiftie events typically are) is so far so this being in Langley was amazing! It was also extremely packed, hard to find parking (we did arrive early it was just that busy!), and nowhere to sit. I would choose a bigger venue next time. Maybe Tradex or Heritage Park? But over all, I’d go repeatedly to this event!”
“Great venders! Would be good to see this at a slightly larger venue, maybe a school gym or community centre. Some of the venders placed in hallways were harder to see. I love that it was in Langley and not Vancouver though. Would have been good to have some kind of food truck or coffee cart outside for the wait since it was pretty long. The music outside was great although maybe louder speakers so could hear it in the line up. ”
“Great vendors!!!! But waaaaay too crowded. So glad we bought the VIP ticket!”
“It was pretty organized. It was funny that no one checked tickets or QR codes. Anyone could have come in. It will definitely need to be in a larger place next time. It was hard to ship since there was so many people. Overall I loved it! ”
“Wait time to get into the event was too long. For a free event that was very popular, time slots would have been better to manage the crowd. The location isn't very big, so it was almost impossible to walk around and see vendors the first few hours. Parking was just as bad, because the golf course was open at the same time. The vendors and entertainment were great, it was just overall too much for this venue.”
“The venue was a lot smaller than expected. Some of the vendors were located in really bad spots and mentioned they were not happy with the placement. As well as A LOT of people were let inside all at once making it difficult to walk. Maybe adding timeslots or a VIP early hour. The event was great and I would love to go again ”
“Beautiful venue, great selection of artisan vendors, lots of signs and a really fun yellow inflatable man (the kind that you see at car dealerships) dancing around making everyone smile and laugh! I always follow Gourmet Markets their events are thoughtfully curated and always a joy to attend. ”
“Great curation of artisanal vendors, good music, good vibes, very stress-free and serene. Got lots of great content too!”
“The experience with the vendors in the morning was great but the show advertising was virtually non existent. Very little social media and no local adverts on the day”
“Venders were great ... But singage for the event was poor the sign should have been placed on the Hyw 7 facing both east and west at 280th lights, in otherwords MORE SIGNS ... If I didn't know where to go I never would have made it to the event”
