Follow Gertie and the Giant OctopusGertie and the Giant Octopus opened its doors in March of 2017. The name of the restaurant was created inspired by the Tacoma narrows bridge, nicknamed "Galloping Gertie" and the legend of the giant octopus that lives under it's ruins. The motivation behind this "outside the box" concept for the neighborhood was to bring a true and much needed European Style Bistro to this diverse community.
