We walk alongside youth in Eastern Idaho who face the greatest barriers and equip them with the support and skills they need to build prosperous, stable lives so they can break destructive cycles and create positive generational change.Each child is paired with a highly trained, professional mentor—not a volunteer—who reflects their culture whenever possible and stays by their side for 12+ years, no matter what. These mentors, called “Friends,” spend four hours each week in one-on-one, growth-oriented time with the child, walking with them and their family from kindergarten through graduation.Because of these long-term, unconditional relationships, our youth enter adulthood with the skills, education, and confidence to thrive—free from early parenting or justice system involvement—and ready to create a new story for themselves and the generations that follow.
