We are a group of neighbors working to better our parks in order to continue the Heights’ growth as one of the most vibrant, welcoming, and community-focused neighborhoods in Houston.The mission of Friends of Lawrence and Milroy Parks is to enhance the quality of life of the greater Heights community by building and maintaining safe, high-quality parks; preserving open space and community gardens; fostering community engagement; and creating a great experience for all who visit.11th Street is one of our main streets in the Heights and we want to uplift this new corridor to enhance our community.
