The Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) has been preserving and celebrating the rich history of our region for over three decades. Established to safeguard Fredericksburg’s stories, artifacts, and cultural heritage, the museum found its home in the historic Town Hall/Market House, a landmark dating back to 1816. Over the years, FAM has grown into a vibrant community hub, offering exhibitions, educational programs, and events that connect the past with the present. As a trusted steward of our shared history, FAM continues to honor the diverse narratives that shape our community while embracing new ways to inspire future generations.
