Fork In The PathForest-to-table LearningFork in the Path offers forest-to-table learning programs for the adventurous of all ages across Northern California. We believe learning to forage and eating seasonal wild food is transformational. It helps us become more connected, whole, healthy, and happy.Our programming includes mushroom and plant foraging, tasting wild food, cultivating a respectful and reciprocal relationship with the land, making art, and community building. We answer “Can I eat that?” and invite curiosity about everything we find within the ecosystems of our outdoor classrooms.We work with phenomenal teachers who bring a combination of expertise, shared values, and group facilitation skills.Because reciprocity is one of our core values, all programs are fully permitted within the forests that host us. We acknowledge our programs take place on the ancestral lands of the Ohlone, Kashaya Pomo, Nisenan, and Miwok peoples and donate a portion of every program to non-profits led by Indigenous communities such as the Native American Rights Fund.
