Flamenco Santa Barbara

¡FLAMENCO! Santa Barbara is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting Flamenco dance and music in our culturally rich region through performances, student scholarships, workshops and educational opportunities.Our work includes:- Performances for the community such as Tablao Flamenco, Peña Flamenco La Maria, Tablao SohO, and other shows. In 2022, we hosted Grammy-nominated Navajita Platea at the Lobero Theatre.- Funding live music during Old Spanish Days Fiesta community events and throughout the year to allow performers and spectators to experience Flamenco in its truest form: accompanied by live Spanish guitar (toque), song (cante) and hand-clapping (palmas).- Tuition scholarships to talented, young Santa Barbara County dancers in need.- Supports workshops lead by master Flamenco artists- Sponsors the dance company, ¡FLAMENCO! Santa Barbara, which performs year-roundContributions are tax-deductible.
