Formerly known as The First Baptist Church Scholarship, a scholarship that benefits members of First Baptist who continue their education after graduating from a high school in the city of Charlottesville or Albemarle County, Virginia. The scholarship was renamed for Rodez Lewis Anderson who was an active member at First Baptist Church where he diligently served as a deacon and church treasurer for 30 years as well as an educator in Albemarle County for 34 years.
