Thank you. I was grateful that Fir-Conway Lutheran had the Sunrise Service this past Easter Sunday. I live in Everett and struggle each year to find a place locally that has such a service. This year, I'd decided if I didn't find a place, I would go to a local park and hold my own service - facing East and reading out loud from the bible. Where I grew up, Sunrise Service events were part of a bonding experience with my Mother, Aunt, siblings and cousins. As a youth, for a multitude of reasons, we didn't have the consistency, the commitment of church e-v-e-r-y weekend, but the monthly church connections and holidays shared - especially the Easter Sunrise Services - came to mean a lot to me. Finding Fir-Conway's Lutheran Service brought not only a connection to God, but also some great and loving memories. Thank you for that.
