F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival

The festival honors Fitzgerald's work and prominent American literary artists. Our overall mission is to foster understanding and appreciation of the literary arts (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, play/screenwriting, and literary journalism) throughout the greater Washington area. To do this we sponsor the annual F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival and present the F. Scott Fitzgerald Award for Achievement in American Literature to an outstanding American writer. Each honoree has been “present” to accept their award and to offer a Master Class for Festival attendees. Another goal is to support, encourage, and assist aspiring and emerging writers and students in the DC area through short story contests and workshops.
