The Eynon Fire Dept is a volunteer fire Dept serving residents of Eynon, Sturges and Archbald. We also provide mutual aid to other surrounding Boroughs. We are made up of 27 active Firemen and 40 inactive. 75% of our active fireman have pro-board certifications. our 1st due area comprises of approximately 15,000 residents. We have 5 schools and 4 defense plants in our 1st due along with several other factories and warehouses. We are currently in the process of merging with the Sturges fire dept.
