Explore Books has been an important community gathering spot for free educational events for the Aspen community including talks by authors, artists, musicians, public officials, academics, extraordinary Aspenites, and storytime events for children. We have held watercolor workshops, spoken-word events, and live theatre. We’ve hosted standing-room-only crowds for events with beloved author Lisa See, Aspen-native climate leader Hal Harvey, and non-partisan candidate and ballot forums.
