Excelsior Symphony Orchestra, led by Music Director William Eckfeld, is an audition-required, community orchestra based in Westchester County, New York, just north of New York City. Founded in 2002, Excelsior performs great works in the orchestra repertoire, provides opportunities for local composers, seeks to broaden conducting opportunities and maintains educational partnerships with White Plains High School and the Hackley School.
