The tradition of soulful cooking has long since been in Esther’s blood line. Esther’s great-grandmother, Mary Lewis, took pride in living off the land, and was known as the master of country style cooking. Gladiola Lewis, Esther’s mother, developed expert skills in Cajun style cuisine. Both Momma Lewis and Mary Lewis believed in passing their recipes on to the next generation. Growing up, Esther faced much opposition, but never let anything distract her from her dreams.
