Follow Erica Penny, LCMHCAErica offers a variety of book clubs and small counseling groups that support children, teens, and adults as they navigate life and the many obstacles they encounter. All groups have eight weekly, fifty-minute sessions. All groups include any books and materials needed for participation. All groups also include light refreshments. Some of the group offerings include:Therapeutic Small Group Counseling (cost may be covered by insurance if you have Aetna or BCBS):-Name it to Tame it - an anxiety support group for teens-Muddles, Puddles, and Sunshine - a grief support group for childrenSupportive Book Clubs:-Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline - a book club for parents-I Love You, Rituals - a book club for parents and babies (no required reading outside of book club meets)-I Am Malala - a character trait book study for teensThese groups are meant to create a caring and supportive community, so there will never be any shaming if you're not able to get all the reading done between sessions. You will still be able to fully participate in group discussions.
