Ellen Tovey Workshops

Ellen Tovey has been a professional artist for over twenty years. She studied Fine Art in Falmouth,her studio is near the Abbey in Central Bath. She has a keen interest in the beauty found in nature. Botanical printmaking first introduced her to the world of Gelli Plate printing. The practice brings her great joy, combining Ellens love for walking and observing the natural world with her creative expression.She chanels her creativity through the impressions she gathers, the color combinations she observes, and the feelings nature inspires, allowing her to collaborate with nature. Gelli plate printing is exciting, it offers immediacy, experimentation and surprise.
