My name is Elijah Lee and I am a child abuse activist from Chesterfield, Virginia. I have been an activist for the past 5 years. Each year, I have led a child abuse awareness march in my small-town community in North Carolina. These are places where we recognize child abuse and the significant impact it is, while also giving our young people an opportunity to rise to the occasion and make a change when it comes to the issues of our world. Between those marches, I serve as a public speaker, ordained minister, and youth advocate in numerous fields. I am the founder and leader of Hear Our Voices which is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the empowerment of all young people. More than anything, I am committed to showing our young people that we have a seat at the table and it is time to take it. When one falls we all fall, but when one rises we all rise. I will always work to make sure our young people continue to rise.
