Chartered in 1941, The Miami Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.,has established itself as a public service organization in Miami-Dade County. The chapter serves the community through projects and programs that are aligned with the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust and that educate and empower the community. Through DEHCI, the Chapter awards more than $ 20,000 in scholarships annually to deserving college freshmen—more than $ 325,000 in scholarships has been awarded to date.
