I appreciate that the event was put on. I didn't know what to expect since we are somewhat new to rural life (being 2 or more hours away from a metropolitan area). So, compared to RenFest in KCMO or St. Louis, this was kind of "Mickey Mouse." Saw everything there was to see (as far as the vendor booths) in about 40 minutes. But the people were nice and it was a pleasant way to spend 40 minutes. So, if this event is like most events in the boonies, then by all means, go and enjoy it with family! It could get 4 or 5 stars for what it was. But if you compare to events in a big city, it's meh.
