Dr. Ricaro O. Sánchez is a clinical mental health counselor, facilitator, and professor at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. His professional experience includes providing culturally responsive humanitarian counseling in post-disaster emergencies; domestic and sexual violence prevention and intervention, immigrant family reunification, and indigenous knowledge systems. Dr. Sánchez is a lifelong learner and practitioner of the Andean healing arts and Indigenous ways of knowing; and has been facilitating self-renewal retreats in Virginia and led journeys to Peru since 2005.
