Dr. Effie D. Hilton Mitchell, a proud native of Greeleyville, SC, is the youngest child of the late Nathaniel and Either Rodgers. She is married to Dr. Ronnie Mitchell and is a devoted mother of three children—Clifford (deceased), Carlos, and Boonie Joe. She is also a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to one.Dr. Mitchell is a 1974 graduate of C.E. Murray High School and later pursued her education at Chris Logan Career College in Sumter, SC, graduating in 1999. She earned a paralegal diploma from Florence Darlington Technical College and has been a licensed business owner for 24 years, successfully operating **Hair I Am Beauty Salon**.Her dedication to faith and leadership led her to earn a Doctoral Degree in Divinity and Christian Leadership. She previously served as the pastor of Miracle Temple, a non-denominational church in Manning, SC, and currently holds the role of associate pastor at Pine Grove AME Church in Rembert, SC.In 2012, Dr. Mitchell founded E’Faith Production Ministries, bringing inspirational storytelling to life through gospel stage plays. Her productions include *The Gospel Train*, *Church Folk for Real, * Church Done Gone Krazy*, *The Devil on Trial, Ready or Not, and *A Sin and a Shame*. Also renowned gospel singer. Served on the planning commission for the City of Manning, Manning, SC and served for 10 and received 10 years recognitions of service. Established the first neighborhood crime watch, Manning, SC. Ran for City Council 2012.
