A note from the artist:For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for crafting and painting. (Some may call it an obsession…) My obsession has taken on many forms over the years, painting ceramics, crafting wooden signs, refinishing furniture and painting on anything I can get my hands on. When I’m not at the salon I have Co-Owned for 21 plus years (painting hair) you can find me at my dollhouse creating something.How we got our name:When we were house hunting for a fixer upper to live in while fixing it to flip. We named each property a different name to keep them straight (one was The Amityville Horror House- an obvious NO GO, one was The Brady Bunch House lol)The dollhouse became its own project when we purchased it. It was a foreclosed property (with “good bones”) that had been sitting vacant for over a year. Along the way of fixing it up we fell more and more in love with our little dollhouse in “The Quiet Corner” of Danielson CT and 7 years later here we are still. And with the kids grown I finally have an art room!I have no formal training in art (except for finishing training in September 2025 to be a Certified Bob Ross Instructor™️) but just have so much joy in the process of painting that I cannot imagine a life without a paint brush in my hand.
