Scotland 2003 was a media-lite landscape till Document addressed the need to bring communities together to share real stories on film from all across the globe. Fast forward to 2026 - we are living in a time of dangerous psychotic leaderships riding on a wave of indoctrinated populisms. Document has come out fresh from a four year hiatus to ensure that media in all its new insidious forms will not blinker us – we will once more commit to showing documentaries by and from the real people who have lived the real stories- the only ones it is essential to tell.
