ABOUT AFROBEAT PDX Formally started as Afrikon Konection in 2014 with Solomon Kofi (Djsolo PDX) as its founder. Aafrobeat PDX is the new name and its main goal is to promote Global music and bringing people of different cultural backgrounds together under the same roof though entertainment. Its main goal is also to provide help and educate people about the culture and lifestyle of Africans as a whole. Afrobeat PDX has been at the front line in promoting the best of Global music ie (African Caribbean American and Latin music ) to the people of Portland and the Pacific North West.
