Born and Raised in the City of Los Angeles, Dj Elbow Greasy's music tastes spans the places and spaces he's been. After graduating from boarding school and college in New England, he lived in New York City for twenty-years (Brooklyn & Harlem) before returning to California to live in the Bay Area. He got his start dj'ing brunches in Harlem a the infamous Den. Since, he has dj'ed bars, restaurants, lounges, clubs, private parties, weddings etc. He created the Recess Dj Collective with his work colleagues who also moonlit as dj's while also educating youth.
