Follow Disability Rights Education & Defense FundThe Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF), founded in 1979, is a leading national civil rights law and policy center directed by individuals with disabilities and parents who have children with disabilities. DREDF is the Parent Training & Information Center (PTI) for Alameda, Contra Costa, and San Joaquin counties in Northern California. Our Education Advocates provide technical assistance to parents in order to help guide them through the special education process.
