With a Master's in TESOL and a background in English Language Learning, neurodivergent education, and trauma-informed pedagogy, Pallavi discovered a calling for grant writing in 2018. Through the initiative Democratize Funding, Pallavi provides tools to help artists and organizations navigate funding landscapes while honoring their cultural and artistic lineages. Since 2022, Pallavi has used an anticapitalist model—leveraging government programs, partnerships, and community initiatives—to offer free and low-cost grant writing services, redistributing over $4 million from wealthy communities to oppressed artists through both traditional and grassroots philanthropy.
