Daphne Strassmann

I am a Memoirist. I write about the intangible spaces between my Latino heritage and my American life, but I am also provoked by memoir as craft and its relationship to memory, especially in the digital age. As an academic, I teach bright first-year college students in several Boston universities. In my spare time, I work as the community and space manager for The Village Works, a spectacular coworking space in Brookline Village.  I am happiest when I write, so creating physical and metaphorical spaces where writers can engage or re-engage with their process is a big part of what motivates me in creating these events. http://daphnestrassmann.com
