Danni (Journey) Ramiz is Middletown, CT native, an elementary school Principal, a worship leader, wife, mom, poet and songwriter. She was the host of Spoken Word Wednesdays Open Mic at Scatz Restaurant and Jazz Lounge and has performed at various events and venues including but not limited to The Love Jones Experience, Hot Chocolate Soul, multiple NAACP events and religious events. She has a heart for the community and young adults and desires for the community come together to bring a renewed sense of knowledge, swagger, unity, peace, and hope as a whole. Journey organizes and hosts community events out of her genuine love for people and trusts that one day productivity and positivity will sprout as the result of her collaborative efforts with those around her.
