Follow Cultural Literacy Programme 拉闊文化Cultural Literacy Programme (CLP or LIVE) is a University-wide project aiming to provide students of HKBU with an experiential learning in arts and culture. The original CLP was launched in 2002 with the support from the Strategic Development Fund. During its six-year span, it successfully launched 1,580 arts events at HKBU which attracted 15,053 students to participate. CLP enjoyed great success with significant contributions from a group of academic staff devoted to arts and cultural education. It was a very popular and well-known student-oriented experiential learning programme at HKBU. Objectives: a. to uplift the arts and culture atmosphere on the HKBU campus; b. to enhance students’ creative mentality and aesthetic awareness; c. to provide opportunities for the students to practise or enjoy creativity; d. to broaden students’ artistic vision from the nearby communities to worldwide; e. to use arts as a means to serve the community; and f. to develop student with sense of social responsibility
