CU Boulder Center for Leadership

The annual Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series, initiated in 2017 and sponsored by the Center for Leadership, connects students and the community to recognized leaders in a diverse array of fields, industries, and disciplines. The speaker series is named after Leo Hill, who served as vice president for business affairs and treasurer for CU and worked directly with CU President Quigg Newton. Hill was a founding contributor to the Newton Leadership Chair Endowment, and through his estate, the Leo Hill Leadership Speaker Series was created. Past speakers in this series include former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, astronaut Mae Jemison, brand director Abigail Posner, authors Doris Kearns Goodwin and David Brooks and retired general Stanley McChrystal.More information on the Center for Leadership, including campus leadership programs and the leadership minor is available athttps://www.colorado.edu/lead.
