Follow Concerned Fathers AssociationThe Concerned Father’s Association was founded on November 19, 1994, and was the brainchild of William Copeland. William’s vision was an organization dedicated to our male youth. The objectives of our organization are to promote the welfare of our members, families and friends. We want to inspire, enrich, and inform, our youths. We seek to maintain a strong sense of involvement. We actively promote the spirit of William’s vision through the sponsorship of activities such as a career day hosted at the Wyandanch Public Library, and the Black History Program at Half Hollow Hills Community Library. We offer community activities for our youths, such as the field trip to the Schomberg museum, our annual picnics, and softball games. The Concerned Fathers Association has also success-fully nominated two recipients of Public Service Awards presented by the Suffolk County human Rights Commission. We join the Mothers Club of Wheatley Heights in their annual celebration for Kwanzaa and Black History Month.
