Follow Committee to Elect Caulette for JudgeCaulette is a native of St. Gabriel, Louisiana. For 20 years she grew up in the Gardere Lane Area in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She proudly remains a resident of East Baton Rouge Parish. Caulette’s education journey began with the East Baton Rouge School System. She proudly attended Kenilworth Middle School and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in May 1994. She’s an alumnus of Southern University, graduating with honors in May 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services. Caulette attended Southern University Law Center. While in law school, she volunteered with many entities, such as the President of Christians at Law Society, the Secretary of the SULC SBA, and a student attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic. Caulette graduated from law school in May 2005 with honors, earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.), and is a proud member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. In 2006, Caulette and her identical twin sister Charlette Jackson established the Law Firm of Jackson & Jackson, LLC. It is there where she has gained experience handling a variety of family, civil, and criminal cases throughout the state. Most importantly, she has practiced family law for sixteen-plus years. She believes her experience has equipped her to serve the individuals and families in the district as Family Court Judge with trustworthy leadership, effective fairness, and justice with compassion. Last but not least, Caulette is a licensed minister of the gospel. She was licensed to preach by the late Rev. Charles T. Smith of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church on August 14, 2011. She is a woman of faith and is active in Evangelism, Community Outreach Ministry, and Christian Education as a bible study and Sunday School teacher serving the community with love in action. She is an Associate Minister at I Need Thee Church under the leadership of Pastor Brandon Buckley. She attribute her instilled values of hard work, tenacity, and a strong spiritual foundation to her parents, Charles & Rita Jackson and her late mother Glenda Wilson Jackson. Caulette Jackson Guillard is happily married to Desmond Guillard. They have three daughters together, Miracle, Carlee, and Calee. Caulette also has one son, Malik ,one granddaughter Mars, and three bonus daughters, Erica, Cheyenne, and Meagan, whom the love dearly. They are members of I Need Thee Church.
