Follow Coastal Bush BathingI am a trained Forest Bathing Guide trained in 2023 through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). I am also a registered nurse and a wilderness first aider. I enjoy the outdoors and meditation and love the concept of the healing powers of green (and Blue) spaces. It is about time in nature but not just time spent outdoors but the about the nature of the time in nature. When joining me on a forest bathing walk I will guide you through a series of invitations to deepen that connection to nature. There are many benefits to forest bathing not limited to reduced stress, reduction in Blood pressure and heart rate. Increased feelings of wellbeing, better sleep patterns and an increase in an immune response to fight infections and disease.
