Follow Clark County Literacy CoalitionThe Clark County Literacy Coaltion (CCLC) is a grass-roots, community-based organization that focuses on training volunteer tutors in order to raise the functional literacy levels of the people in the area. CCLC trains and supports tutors for its own programs and also for others wishing to provide volunteer tutors. Tutors volunteer in one of three programs: Adult Basic Literacy Education, English Speakers of Other Languages or Teaching Children to Read. Students need help with basic reading, writing or speaking. CCLC is located in the former Warder Public Library building, renamed Warder Literacy Center in 1989.
