Follow Cinco Ranch High School Robotics Team - CRyptoniteCRHS Robotics team CRyptonitecompetes with other teams, grades 9-12, globally as part of theFIRST(ForInspiration andRecognition ofScience andTechnology) Robotics Competitions (FRC). When FIRST announces this season’s robotics challenge on January 4, 2020 teams will have just 6 weeks to plan, design, prototype, build, and program a 120 pound robot to compete in regional and national events to achieve the objective.Throughout the year team CRyptonite carries out community outreach activities to increase STEM awareness and show how science is fun. The annual Science Day Camp is held to interest younger students in STEM and for the high school students to hold a fund raising event to support team activities. The CRHS CRyptonite Robotics team is guided by the CRHS Robotics Booster Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of volunteers (parents, mentors, and former team members), who strongly believe in the values and goals of FIRST and STEM education.
