The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland (CILIPS) work in partnership with our affiliate CILIP – the leading professional body for librarians, information specialists and knowledge managers, with members in the UK and internationally. CILIPS have 1,200 members in Scotland and we advocate the value of library and information professionals’ skills to society as well as supporting our members in attaining and retaining professional qualifications such as Chartership. We also organise training and development opportunities for our members.
