Community Health Worker Coalition for Migrants and Refugees is a Washington-based nonprofit dedicated to advancing health equity, environmental justice, and culturally responsive care for migrant and refugee communities. Since 2013, CHWCMR has trained and empowered hundreds of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and Community Champions across the state, particularly in regions like Skagit, Pierce County, Yakima, Thurston, and Snohomish, through no cost, bilingual education and trauma-informed programming. Its initiatives span mental health support, youth engagement, chronic disease prevention, and environmental advocacy, all rooted in community-led design.
