Follow Chris WhittakerChris Whittaker is a 2025 J.D. Candidate at Fordham University School of Law, passionate about environmental law and solving the climate crisis. Chris co-leads Fordham's Climate Law Equity and Sustainability Initiative (CLESI) and serves as a student member of the New York City Bar Association Environmental Law Committee. As a student, Chris has had the opportunity to work for Earthjustice, the U.S. Department of Justice's Environment & Natural Resources Division, and U.S. EPA Region 2. In his past musical career, he was a composer, conductor and pianist, founding the Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra and Fort Washington Community Choir, and has served as music director at Fort Washington Collegiate Church. A resident of Upper Manhattan for 12 years, Chris was recently appointed to serve on Manhattan Community Board 12. He lives in Washington Heights with his wife Alexis and their two cats.
