Dave Nicoletta is the owner of Giannos of High Point and Giada's Trattoria in Kernersville North Carolina. As a Chef and a father, Dave is passionate about making sure that all kids have an opportunity to get an education and find the one thing that truly inspires them. For Dave, that one thing, was found working in a professional kitchen at the early age of just thirteen years old. The excitement and atmosphere stuck and for the last 25 years he has been able to do something he loves everyday.Most recently, Dave and his team competed in the 2015 Got To Be NC Competition Dining Series where the finished in the top 4 teams out of 16. It was there, battling such notable restaurants as Meridian, River Birch Lodge, and eventual winner Graze Restaurant, that Chef Dave came up with the idea for this dinner. Naturally, he wanted to make sure that a worthy cause benefit from the event and immediately the Boys and Girls Club of Greater High Point was chosen. A scholarship will be awarded to a deserving club member(s) that have expressed an interest in the culinary field.
