Charlton field is the perfect location for the event, however there was no inclusiveness. There was no community action! Singing, or dancing or celebration. We were suppose to have been celebratin̈g the 80th anniversary of VE day. We all just sat around, the beacon was lit with no announcement and then went home. No National anthem was sang. It was a disappointing evening.
