Lampeter Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2005 by Dr George Lilley, to give local players, especially young players, the opportunity to rehearse and perform the classical music repertoire. Some of its young members have gone on to study at conservatoires or have appeared as soloists with other orchestras. Several currently play in the Three Counties Youth Orchestra. In 2009 we were delighted to accept the position of Orchestra in Residence at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David, Lampeter.
